Try out the new JT SplatMaster Experience during the NPPL DC Challenge at Pev’s August 24-26.
We caught up with Pro Player Thomas Taylor who plays for Team XSV and asked him about the new JT SplatMaster Experience.
NPPL: Thomas, so tell us what is the JT SplatMaster Experience all about?
NPPL: So anyone can play?
Thomas Taylor: Yes, its great for kids ages 7 and up, but anyone can play and have fun.
NPPL: So how does the game work?
Thomas Taylor: The Game is real easy, there are three activities to play: First game is a target shoot where you earn points on accuracy, second game is an obstacle course where you run and shoot at targets and receive points for a timed score and the last activity is versus which is not mandatory but a lot of fun. Versus is where you play two on two or three on three and earn points. The games are played in an inflatable arena but you can really play any where.
NPPL: Do you win anything?
Thomas Taylor: Every player gets a point card that you can compare with your friends to see who’s the best at the JT SplatMaster Experience. You can also use the point card as a gauge to show improvement by trying to beat your own score.
NPPL: Have you played?
Thomas Taylor: Yes, It’s the funniest thing I have done in a long time. No one is afraid to get shot and anyone can play? It does not hurt and is an excellent way to introduce anyone to the game of Paintball.
NPPL: Tell us about the markers?
Thomas Taylor: There are two types of Markers. The Z 100 which is a pistol and has a 7 round clip with an attachable handle to help with loading. It shoots at about 120 fps very low. Then there is the Z 200 shotgun which holds 15 balls and easy to fire. The Shotgun is my favorite because its real accurate and shoots about 140 fps.
NPPL: So, you will be in DC showing this new game off?
Thomas Taylor: Yes I will be on hand to explain paintball safety and to show everyone how to play the JT SpaltMaster Experience.
